Bitten by the Bollywood bug!

I want you to take a look at the picture 1 above. Seems like a nice happy bunch of college bum chums, doesnt it?
Now I want you to take a closer look at the picture belowand look a little closer at the girl on the far left at the bottom of the photo.


That girl is none other than Mansi Parekh- now star of India's latest primetime show- India calling!
India Calling is a show about a small town girl (Chandini aka Mansi) who comes to a big city in search for her elder sister and gets a job in a call centre. The show is quite a hit accross the nation.
What does it take to get from Picure 1 to Picture 2?
A lot of talent, a helluva lot of determination and a little luck,i would guess knowing Mansi.Mansi is also a beautiful singer and won scholarships in college for overall performance.
Way to go Mansi!

Speaking of glamourous old friends, Id like to introduce you to Precious Lara Quigaman, currently touring the world as Miss International 2005. Precious and I were classmates back in Bahrain during the 3rd- 6th grade. She was always the tall pretty, creative type, but no way in my wildest imagination would I have ever imagined that she would turn out to be such a bomb!!
